The Science Behind ChillTite Body
High-intensity focused ultrasound delivers concentrated energy precisely into the subcutaneous fat layer — 4cm below the skin. This focused energy heats the fat cells to the point of apoptosis (cell death), while leaving the surrounding tissue and skin surface completely unaffected.
Unlike fat-freezing or dieting — which simply shrink fat cells — HIFU destroys fat cells permanently. Once destroyed, these cells are eliminated from the body through the lymphatic system over the following 4–6 weeks.
As destroyed fat exits the body, the space is filled with new collagen — resulting in skin tightening alongside fat reduction. This dual effect is unique to HIFU and sets ChillTite apart from most other body contouring treatments.
The ultrasound energy also disrupts the fibrous bands beneath the skin that cause the dimpled appearance of cellulite — releasing them and allowing the skin surface to smooth out as collagen fills the treated tissue.
