Halo Therapy — Salt Therapy

Breathe easier, clear your lungs and restore your skin — naturally

Chill Cryotherapy is thrilled to now offer medical-grade halotherapy! Halotherapy, or salt therapy, involves exposure to air with tiny salt particles to improve your breathing, sinuses and skin health. It is considered an alternative treatment for lung problems such as asthma, bronchitis, cough, sinusitis, sinus infection and allergies — and is also excellent for relieving skin conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema and urticaria. Halotherapy can be especially helpful for those suffering from Long Covid as well.

Chill offers active dry halotherapy in a beautiful birch wood and glass chamber made by SaltChamber. Our halogenerator breaks down medical-grade salt into tiny particles that circulate in the booth and are easily inhaled through the mouth and nose to clear lungs, throat, sinuses and nasal passages. Your skin also absorbs the microscopic salt particles, leading to healthier, younger and more beautiful skin.

Our active halotherapy is significantly more effective than passive salt rooms — because our booth aerosolizes the salt, it is easily inhaled and absorbed by your skin. Passive salt rooms use salt blocks which do not aerosolize the salt.

Contraindications & Side Effects

Is Halo Therapy Right for You?

Halotherapy can have some side effects as your body detoxifies chronic inflammation, viral or bacterial infection and toxins. You may experience coughing and more mucus secretion as your lungs and nasal passages clear — and may notice increased discharge from deep areas of your lungs and sinuses. Skin irritation may occur; in such cases, decrease the frequency of sessions.

Contraindications: Hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure (hypertension), tuberculosis, heart problems, respiratory failure, blood disorders, infectious diseases, fever, open wounds, malignant diseases, claustrophobia, and pregnancy. Salt therapy does NOT substitute for any conventional medication. Always consult your doctor before proceeding.
